Olympic tickets may start finding their holders on Friday

 

Tokyo, Japan, May 19, 2016 - After a rest day in Tokyo, the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament is about to enter its decisive stage on Friday, when the first of the four Olympic tickets available may be issued.



Thailand have to recover from their dramatic loss to Japan at the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament on Wednesday and win against Kazakhstan on the fifth competition day in Tokyo in order to keep their Olympic hopes alive.  Read more.



Korea could qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games if they claim a 3-0 win against Peru on the fifth competition day at the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan.  Read more.



Italy could book a ticket to Rio if they defeat the Netherlands in the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament all-European clash, but face no easy task against the squad of compatriot Giovanni Guidetti.  Read more.
