Dutch setter Laura Dijksma provided great service for her spikers against Italy
Tokyo, Japan, May 20, 2016 - Netherlands coach Giovanni Guidetti was thrilled with his team’s all-round game, while Italian captain Antonella Del Core admitted her team gave up in the final set.
Netherlands coach Giovanni Guidetti - “Our blocks, serves and defense was good. Our blockers and attackers did good.”

Italy coach Marco Bonitta - “The Netherlands played high-level volleyball today. We showed the fans good volleyball today with long rallies in the first and second sets.”
“We were caught flat-footed in the third set and that is why we had the result we did.”
Netherlands captain Maret Balkestein-Grothues - “We played pretty good today. Italy is an organized team. We knew we had to win and this was a difficult match.”
