Teams set to regroup at Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament

 

Tokyo, Japan, May 15, 2016 - With five more matches to go there is still plenty to play for at the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament when it resumes on Tuesday.




Korea and Japan have two wins each from their last four Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament encounters. One of them will take the edge in this classic Asian derby on Tuesday, when they meet again in front of a sell-out crowd in Tokyo. Read more.




Two mid-table teams - Thailand and the Netherlands, each with a 1-1 win-loss record at the event, clash for the first time ever at the Women's World Olympic Qualification. Read more.




Two teams on the opposite ends of success so far at the Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament will meet on the third competition day. The Dominican Republic, which have not won any matches yet, will challenge Italy, which emerged victorious from both their games so far. Read more.
